We are please to announce that Edwin Cox Chairman of the Gwent County Referees Association and Life Member and Secretary of the Monmouthshire Referees Association, has been elected Chairman of the Referees Association of Wales on 11th December 2011.
Edwin has been a Member of the Monmouthshire Referees Association for 41 years and currently still serving on the Council for this his 40th year.

The Gwent County Referees Association, Monmouthshire Referees Association, East Gwent Referees Association and the North Gwent Referees Association would like to Congratulate Edwin on his appointment.

The Monmouth Referees Association were pleased to celebrate 50 years of
service to the R.A. by Ernie Lewis, a life member of Mon R.A.on 23rd January
2003

Peter Gilbey the Welsh Divison Secretary presents Ernie with his award whilst
Mrs Lewis and Gordon Harrhy the President of Monmouth Referees' Association

Willis, the then Referees Association President 50 years of service to the
R.A. by Gough Powell, a life member of Mon R.A.
